'The first solo exhibition of Spector at 09 space for art contain representations of artificial depictions of nature, inspired by romantic cinema. Nature in Spector's hands goes through a process of death and revival, and axes such as real and fabrication, eternal and ephemeral are being dealt in aesthetically high end.
The mimic practice of scenography suggests a hint to the artist background as a props designer- with her usage of set construction methods while deliberately exposing the hidden.
Spector positions one's private emotional memory against a collective memory, that is based on cinema, media and popular knowledge.'
