A story behind a story ​

Residency project at the Frise Kunstlerhaus, Hamburg, July 2015.

Belit Sag and myself, sponsored by the Kulturbehörde of Hamburg,  were invited to lead a workshop for gymnasium students during the month of July 2015.                                                                        

The results of 'A Story Behind a Story' were exhibited during July 2015 at the FRISE.

​

‘Pictures of conflict have burned themselves upon our collective consciousness, ever since the invention of mass communication. Created with a device, these pictures withdraw from coherent cause and impact of situations by being misshaped in their frequency and legibility, making them seem available, only revealing abstractions.'
